The school has the semester system of evaluation and assessment approved by the CBSE within each term there will also be regular class tests which will be taken into account for promotion Record. Details of class tests, terminal evaluations, along with the schedule and syllabus will be given separately. The progress Reports issued after the Terminal Evaluation are to be collected by the parents on the specified date.

To select a particular stream in Class XI, aptitude for the stream / subjects must be established through a certain consistency in the academic, Co-Scholastic, Co-Curricular performance in classes IX and X. Further, only those students will be admitted and allowed to choose a stream who score grades or marks of merit in the aptitude tests conducted by the CBSE Board or by the School.

Any irregularity or unfair means detected or receives or gives assistance in any form during test/examination will be given zero in the subject, a warning letter, Unfair means amounts to fail/repetations of the class. If a student is absent from an evaluation test he/ she may not be permitted to appear for it at a later date. In case of serious illness, a Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner has to be submitted immediately, and the student″s performance through the year will be taken into consideration for promotion.

Students of classes I to VIII should pass in five compulsory subjects i.e. English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies @ 40% per subject or equivalent grades. Students of classes IX-XII will be governed by the rules laid down by the CBSE Board. A student failing for two successive years in the same class may be asked to be withdrawn. Promotion refused will not be considered. In no case shall a student be “promoted on trial.” Answer papers of unit tests, quarterly & half yearly examination are open to parents for scrutiny on application but answer papers of final examination will not under any circumstances be shown to the parents. The teachers should be taken into confidence by the parents/guardians.
